Dignity
I can say that there were many mornings when I got up frightened. Days that brought a strange uncertainty and the desire to escape. A childlike sense of abandonment and the undeniable certainty that I needed help. These days, leaving home to work has always been an inspiration. It was like sure that my efforts, though small, was being part of something bigger. Like a big puzzle that I put just a little piece, minimal but with a key role in the whole. So are we, workers, who daily give our contribution, our efforts do not need glory or honors, just know that we have the dignity and the joy of accomplishment. These photographs depict proud, dignified and anonymous that together build our society.
